The season I hate is back again. There’s a lot of those days where wet stuff falls from the sky. I like baths, but this wet stuff is just there to make you miserable. I prefer bath time when I get a back massage. Momma still makes me go outside to potty even when the wet stuff is falling. It sucks big time. Sis doesn’t mind it as much, but then again she can be kind of weird.

Even though it’s raining, it doesn’t have to be a bad day! On every rainy day momma will say, “Who wants to have some basement fun?”. Tigerlily won’t leave the top of the stairs after momma says that. So lame. Momma will give you a puppy pick up to the basement even if you’re by the back door. I do it all the time. Sometimes we go downstairs together to play, and sometimes momma takes us one at a time. I like the one at a time days better. Then I get all of the treats!

Momma’s basement is the best. Every time we go down there are boxes just sitting on this carpet. If you can figure out how to get the box open there are treats inside! I’m not sure why momma ever leaves her basement. There’s even a sheet thrown on the floor with stuff holding more treats hidden under it!

Some of the treats are put in things that are a little more challenging than boxes. Momma’s latest creation (she thought it was going to slow me down, haha) was to put the treat under tennis balls inside red cups and place the cups in a low box. Clearly you have to move the cups out of the box to be able to flip them and get the ball to move to find the treat. Even my lil’ sis could figure it out in no time (although let’s just be clear, she wasn’t as fast as me the first time I did it). If you want to see a video of me in action, click on the picture! She came up with another that she thought would “challenge” me and named it “puppy pinata”. The first time I did it I was kinda small. It may have taken me almost fifteen minutes that time. Now I can do it in under five easy. Momma takes some of my mema toys and shoves them in the opening of a bottle. Then I have to pull those out before I can get the treat to fall out of the bottle. Once we find all the treats momma gets one of the puzzle balls and we play fetch! After we do that we dance for a bit (I’ve got tons of smooth dance moves, but momma is still learning). Sis says she doesn’t do that silly dancing stuff. Momma plays treibball with her instead. I prefer dancing. Pushing those balls around isn’t nearly as much fun. Tigerlily and I took classes to learn our specialties, but that’s a story for another day. I have to get going for some basement fun!
